A: We know you have a busy life, and we want to provide you a service as fast and effectively as possible. There are several factors when considering how long it may take for us to clean your home- the biggest factor would come down to how much space we have to cover in one session. Naturally, smaller areas will take less time. The condition of the carpet and the treatment you are asking us to do also factors in. Normally, in a standard set up to break down with up to 5 areas take about an hour and a half for us to treat. If you have time constraints or something causing you to have to leave, consider breaking up treatments, or even have us come at a later or earlier date. We can even perform our services while you are not at your home.

Q: How long does it take to clean the carpets in my house?
Q: Will your hoses damage my walls?

A: Absolutely Not!  We take precautionary steps to shield your walls from our hoses by placing corner guards on the walls that our hoses pass by.

Q: Will carpet cleaning void my warranty?

A: If you have carpet installed in your home, it is pretty standard to expect that you’ll have them cleaned. As certified cleaning technicians we follow the  carpet manufacturer's recommended cleaning procedures.  Companies that follow these cleaning procedures protect you from having your warranty voided.

Q: How often should I vacuum my carpets?

A: Honestly, you can never vacuum your carpets enough. Of course it depends upon the amount of traffic on your carpets, and if you have pets, but a good rule of thumb is at least once or twice a week. This will help offset dust mites, prevent matting (depending on what vacuum you use), and pick up loose dirt and soil that accumulates from daily traffic and use.

Q: Do you vacuum the carpet?

A: Yes we do. Since about 80% of the soil in carpets is dry soil, it’s essential that your carpets are professionally vacuumed before any type of moisture cleaning process. When you hire us to clean your home, we don’t skip any steps in the least- so before we get to the actual heavy duty cleaning, we vacuum the carpets using a dual motor HEPA filter commercial vacuum cleaner.

Q: Can I walk on the carpet after it is cleaned?

A: After Jonquil leaves your home once we’ve completed our cleaning job, we will provide you and your loved ones booties to walk around in while the carpet is still drying. This is completely fine and will bear no affect on the carpets. Drying time varies depending on carpet types and whether or not carpet protector and/or deodorizer was applied. Approximately 6-8 hours is average drying time, although on dry and sunny days carpets can dry much quicker.
